The AAHKS Board of Directors met in Rosemont, Illinois for the July Board Retreat where they attended a CME planning session facilitated by Shelly Rodrigues, Deputy Executive Vice President of the California Academy of Family Physicians. Following the session, members received a tour of the construction progress of the new Orthopaedic Headquarters Building and the Orthopaedic Learning Center. The following day, members engaged in a discussion about values-based leadership with guest speaker, Harry M. Kraemer, author of From Values to Action, and Clinical Professor of Management & Strategy at the Kellogg School of Management. After receiving an environmental review from Mr. Kraemer, participants heard reports from the CME/Education, International and Publications Committees.
