The AAHKS Annual Meeting grows every year as more members, nonmembers, industry and guests participate in the event. This year’s Annual Meeting is on track to be the largest yet. With this trend likely to continue, we need to identify future venues that can accommodate our growth for 2017 and beyond.

At a visit this week to the 2014 site, the Sheraton Dallas Hotel, Mike Zarski, Executive Director, and Eileen Lusk, Director of Education and Meetings, refined the details to maximize the experience for everyone attending the meeting this November. They also took the opportunity to scout seven new venues in Dallas and Phoenix as potential sites for future meetings.

A survey of AAHKS membership earlier this year showed that most members were open to exploring other cities as hosts for the Annual Meeting. At their retreat last month, AAHKS Board members discussed the idea of adding a spring CME meeting to the AAHKS calendar as well. “Having meeting options in place for the future makes sense as AAHKS continues to grow, and we will continue to have the best interest of our members in mind when choosing locations,” said Lusk.
