AAHKS Replies to CMS RFI for new CMS Payment Systems

AAHKS Executive Director, Michael J. Zarski, JD filed a letter commenting on CMS’s Request for Information regarding development of the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and Alternative Payment Models (APMs) under the new Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA). AAHKS offered the comments as the first step in anticipation of close collaboration with CMS to ensure they benefit from our organization’s expertise and experience when implementing Medicare physician payment reforms related to TJA. Read the letter.
