AAHKS Submits Comments on CMS Payment Model

AAHKS submitted an extensive comment letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regarding the proposed Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement Payment Model. AAHKS has expressed its concerns to CMS about the proposed timeline, the proposed institutional participation requirements and several other issues. An analysis by AAHKS staff shows that this payment model will affect 36.6% of our Fellow, Candidate and Associate members. Read the comment letter.
