Airport Security Video Getting Press Coverage

In the first month since AAHKS released the “Airport Security with a Metal Implant: One Thing to Know” video, it has gained more than 4,000 views on the AAHKS YouTube channel. Orthopedics Today also featured the video alongside a study published in Hip International by AAHKS member Michael A. Mont, MD. SmartBrief for The Business Traveler picked up the Orthopedics Today article this week. The video is intended to provide patients with a visual demonstration of how to notify a TSA officer at an airport security checkpoint that they have a hip or knee implant.
