AAHKS members from across Latin America and the US gather to hold a case-based discussion luncheon at our co-branded meeting in Lima, Peru. There is interest from those in attendance to expand these discussions at the AAHKS Spring Meeting in Miami that will feature a special Spanish-language course and designated tables in all breakout sessions for Spanish speaking attendees.
AAHKS is co-hosting the 5th International Course on Hip and Knee Replacement with Clinica San Bernardo and Mayo Clinic this weekend in Lima, Peru. As part of the course, we are holding an AAHKS members-only luncheon with patients and clinical discussion. In addition, we are hosting an AAHKS booth to promote international membership and attendance at the Spring and Annual Meetings. More than 15 AAHKS fellow and international members are on the agenda including course director and host Marcelo Lizárraga, MD. AAHKS International Committee Chair Rafael J. Sierra, MD said, “With surgeons coming from three continents, this meeting has grown exponentially in the last decade and positioned itself as one of the top hip and knee meetings in South America.”
