In an effort to reach new audiences
about the benefits of total joint replacement, the American Association
of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) is offering “Total Joint
Replacement: A Patient’s Perspective” in DVD format.
The film follows four patients and their families facing the need
for hip or knee replacement surgery. Click

Established in 1991, the mission of the American Association
of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) is to provide leadership
in advocacy, education and research to achieve excellence in hip and
knee patient care. The AAHKS Annual Meeting (held in the fall) addresses
a broad array of scientific topics, such as implant design, results,
surgical techniques and complications of primary and revision TJA,
as well as the latest information available on socioeconomic issues
affecting your specialty.
The AAHKS is comprised of over 1,100 board-certified or board-eligible
orthopaedic surgeons in the United States and Canada who devote at least
50% of their practice to hip and knee arthroplasty.
