Hip Replacement Patient to Hike Pacific Crest Trail for Charity

Jim Harper of San Luis Obispo, California has started an online campaign to help raise funds for Operation Walk USA. He received a hip replacement in 2010 and plans to walk the more than 2,600 miles of the Pacific Coast Trail starting May 1, 2015. “I would like to show the world the success of joint replacements and how recipients can return to productive, normal life styles.
