On March 15, 2017, Mark I. Froimson, MD, MBA took office as the 27th President of AAHKS during the Board of Directors meeting in San Diego.
Dr. Froimson is Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer for Trinity Health – a nationwide, non-profit health care system. He formerly served as President and CEO of Euclid Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic Hospital, in Euclid, Ohio. He was staff surgeon in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic for over 16 years, during which time he held leadership positions including President of the Professional Staff, Vice Chair of the Orthopaedic and Rheumatologic Institute, and member of the Board of Governors and Board of Trustees.
