AAHKS Research Design Course
Presented by Susan M. Odum, MS, MEd and Howell C. Sasser, MD
The objective of this workshop is to provide an overview of clinical research study design and statistical analysis for nonstatisticians. This workshop will identify the process and concepts involved in statistically designing a meaningful and economically feasible clinical study with valid and reliable results. Topics include: elements of a well written protocol; strengths and limitations of various study designs; statistical considerations and power/sample size estimate.
