Operation Walk
The AAHKS supports the efforts of Operation Walk, a private, not-for-profit, volunteer medical services organization, founded by AAHKS Past President Lawrence D. Dorr, MD.

Since 1995, seven Operation Walk teams with participation by AAHKS members have been formed across the US and Canada to provide free surgical treatment for patients in developing countries that have no access to life-improving care for arthritis or other debilitating bone and joint conditions.
