New York University
In 2006, AAHKS Member Eric L. Martin, MD, started a pro bono program with NYU/HJD. Once a month, Dr. Martin travels to New Your City where he works at Bellevue Hospital, assisting the residents with primary and revision joint replacements for the indigent population. Dr. Martin reports this is an invaluable learning experience for the residents and for him, due to the wide variety of complex cases that find their way into the city hospital. He’s thankful that NYU as helped him to learn and to teach the upcoming generation of Orthopedists.
