NEJM Publishes Joint AAHKS and AAOS Letter to the Editor

Yesterday, the New England Journal of Medicine published a letter to the editor drafted by AAHKS President, Jay R. Lieberman, MD and AAOS President, David D. Teuscher, MD in response to the study, “A Randomized, Controlled Trial of Total Knee Replacement” published in the October 22 issue. In the letter, Dr. Lieberman and Dr. Teuscher pointed out factors in the study that could lead to misinterpretation of the complications associated with total knee replacement.
