AAHKS supports the humanitarian efforts of its members with the Annual AAHKS Humanitarian Award and recognition of humanitarian organizations in which members are involved.

The Annual AAHKS Humanitarian Award

The Humanitarian Award recognizes AAHKS members who have distinguished themselves by providing humanitarian medical services and programs with a significant focus on musculoskeletal diseases and trauma including the hip and knee in the United States or abroad. The award recipient receives a $5,000 donation to the humanitarian organization providing hip and knee care in which they are involved.
