Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Recognition
The AAHKS Fellowship Recognition Program sets forth a common set of standards for adult reconstruction fellowship training programs and a process for recognizing adherence to such standards.
Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Match
The American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), The Hip Society (THS) and The Knee Society (TKS) have established this Fellowship Match Program to assist orthopaedic residents in obtaining fellowships in adult reconstruction and to assist fellowship programs in obtaining fellows in these specialties.
The Match is vital to the future of our specialties. The leadership of AAHKS, THS and TKS as well as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) are fully committed to ensuring the program’s success. A task force established by the three organizations developed this Match program with assistance from other orthopaedic societies, with established matches providing valuable resources as our Match program developed.
The program is governed by the Fellowship Committee composed of representatives and alternates from each of the three organizations, as well as a chair elected by the Committee.
