Primary Total Hip Arthroplasty Performance Measure Set

The AAHKS Hip Arthroplasty Work Group finalized the Primary Hip Arthroplasty Performance Measurement Set in May 2016. The measures evaluate outcomes and appropriate preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care which are critical to improving patient function and quality of life.

» ADDENDUM: Exclusions for Hip Fractures The addendum lists relevant hip fracture ICD – 10 – CM codes S72, M80, M84, and S32, which are the denominator exclusions for the AAHKS Primary Total Hip Arthroplasty Measurement Set.

Total Knee Replacement Performance Measure Set

AAHKS has developed physician performance measures and related data specifications in order to assist physicians in enhancing quality of care for patients undergoing total knee replacement (TKR). This measure set was approved by the Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement (PCPI) in January 2013.
