AARP Questions Medicare Hip and Knee Data

The AARP Public Policy Institute published a study, “Impact of the Medicare Hospital Readmission Reduction Program on Hospital Readmissions Following Joint Replacement Surgery” in its October issue. A study, “Effect of i.v. acetaminophen on total hip or knee replacement surgery: A case-matched evaluation of a national patient database,” was published in the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy this week.
