On the heels of the AAHKS Annual Meeting, Education Council Chair, Brian D. Springer, MD, gave an update on the status of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) collaboration at the ACR Annual Meeting this week. “With extensive literature review and expert input, the ACR and AAHKS have come together to propose a set of guidelines for medication during the perioperative period for patients undergoing knee or hip arthroplasty,” said MD Magazine. Also, following a very popular joint symposium at the Annual Meeting, the American Society of Regional Anesthesiologists and AAHKS will again team up for a symposium at the 42nd Annual Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine Meeting in San Francisco.
