New Appointment for Gennaro Pipino, MD

AAHKS member, Gennaro Pipino, MD of Bologna, Italy, has been appointed to Director of the University Education Centre, Clinical Unit, and Scientific Research in Orthopaedics at Universita’ in Lugano, Switzerland. Dr. Pipino is the chief and full professor of the Orthopedic Department and has been with the university for 10 years.

B. Sonny Bal, MD Appointed Amedica Chairman

CNN reported this week that Amedica Corporation board of directors elected AAHKS member, B. Sonny Bal, MD as its new chairman of the board of directors. Dr. Bal is a member of the Health Policy Committee. Full story.

Brett Perricelli, MD Appointed Orthopedic Surgery Chief

AAHKS emerging leader, Brett Perricelli, MD, has been appointed as Chief, Section of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh.
