Report Issued Following PRO Summit

AAHKS has released a detailed report of the AAHKS Quality and Patient Safety Summit on Total Joint Arthroplasty that it hosted in Baltimore on August 31, 2015. The report details the recommendations made by the attendees to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The consensus reached in the Summit allowed the participating organizations to comment on the CMS “Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement” proposed rule with rationale for patient-reported outcome measures and risk variables.
