This week, AAHKS leaders were in Osaka, Japan serving as the guest society for the 56th Japanese Society for Replacement Arthroplasty (JSRA). First Vice President Antonia F. Chen, MD, MBA kicked off the Congress by addressing increasing the number of women in arthroplasty, which has recently been made a priority by JSRA. Third Vice President Gregory G. Polkowski II, MD, MSc, International Committee Chair Carlos A. Higuera, MD and Arthroplasty Today Social Media Editor Elizabeth G. Lieberman, MD made up the rest of the delegation from AAHKS, providing talks on TKA flexion instability, post TJA PJI management and cementless TKA, among many other topics. Many thanks to JSRA, which served as the first Guest Society (along with the Chilean Hip Society) at the 2015 AAHKS Annual Meeting, for hosting us this year.
