AAHKS General Session Began Today

The General Session of the 2025 AAHKS Annual Meeting began today at 3:00 p.m. with welcome remarks from AAHKS President R. Michael Meneghini, MD. Today’s program covered complex topics in arthroplasty, with Symposia on “Dogma Under the Knife: Challenging the Status Quo in Primary TKA” and “Navigating the ASC Setting: How to Go from Operating in the ASC to Thriving,” and Papers 1-8 on Primary TKA presented and discussed. Representatives from the Guest Society also brought greetings and updates from Italy to AAHKS attendees. Prior to the General Session, four “Ask the Experts” Case Sessions gave attendees the opportunity to review complex cases and engage in small-group discussions with expert faculty on new techniques and technologies in the field. The day’s events concluded with a reception in honor of authors, reviewers and volunteers who contribute to AAHKS publications the Journal of Arthroplasty and Arthroplasty Today.
