The 2025 AAHKS Spring Meeting commenced this week in Scottsdale, Arizona. Today’s events included Day 1 of General Session, which included four symposia on current controversies in TKA and THA, PJI treatment and the range of knee articulations. Attendees also participated in two “Ask the Experts” case-based sessions and learned a series of “quick hitter” tips providing tangible techniques to bring back to their practices. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore firsthand new innovations presented by 10 exhibitors. Surgeons will convene at a reception this evening before the Spring Meeting concludes on Saturday, with more General Session symposia addressing surgical approaches in THA and controversies in revision TKA, along with Breakout Sessions emphasizing small-group learning. Two spring FARE (Foundation for Arthroplasty Research and Education) grants will be presented to this cycle’s recipients as well. Thursday’s events included an International Session moderated by Victor H. Hernandez, MD, MS, with five international arthroplasty surgeons presenting perspectives on how PJI is treated in their countries from a patient, surgeon and health system perspective, and a welcome reception for all attendees.
