About Arthroplasty Today

This online journal, published four times a year, serves as a venue for current topics related to joint replacement and associated procedures. It is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal with a focus on case reports of the highest quality.

Arthroplasty Today publishes original manuscripts from all areas relating to joint replacement or the treatment of its complications, including those dealing prosthetic design, biomechanics, biomaterials, metallurgy, and biologic response to arthroplasty materials in vivo and in vitro. It serves as a venue for other unique manuscript types including communication to AAHKS members, review articles, educational materials related to care delivery, health policy, trends in the practice of arthroplasty, and technical tips with case follow up.
