AAHKS Diversity Advisory Board Mentoring Program

Purpose: The purpose of the mentorship program is to recruit and enrich the professional development of young arthroplasty surgeons of color, one of the core goals of the Diversity Advisory Board. The program will match trainees and early practice surgeons with mentors who are more established in their careers, with the goals of increasing the number of fellowship applications from trainees of color and supporting these surgeons as they begin their own careers.
