AAHKS First Vice President Antonia F. Chen, MD, MBA will moderate the session and share her professional journey from fellow to future AAHKS President. Faculty members Nicolas S. Piuzzi, MD, Nathanael D. Heckmann, MD and Jonathan R. Lex, MD will give their suggestions for getting involved in academics, research, education and mentorship, as well as the AAHKS Young Arthroplasty Group (YAG) perspective on benefits to early involvement in leadership from Dr. Lex, a YAG Committee member.
