Taking place on Thursday, April 30, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Central during the AAHKS Spring Meeting in Chicago, the 2026 International Session is titled “Surgeon Burnout: Its Epidemiology and Potential Approaches to Mitigate it – A Global Perspective.” Carlos A. Higuera-Rueda, MD, Chair of the International Committee, will moderate the session, which also includes faculty members Anna R. Cohen-Rosenblum, MD, MSc, Peter A. Gold, MD, Elizabeth G. Lieberman, MD, Ahmed Nouh, MD of Egypt and Vishnu K.
