The AAHKS Women in Arthroplasty (WIA) and Young Arthroplasty Group (YAG) Committees are partnering with the Advocacy Committee in September to present a two-part webinar on the basics and importance of advocacy in arthroplasty. On Thursday, September 8, 2022, 8:30 p.m. Eastern / 7:30 p.m. Central, WIA and YAG will present Part I: What is Advocacy? An Introduction. Topics include Basic Concepts to Understanding Government and Advocacy Efforts, Tips and Tactics for Effective Lobbying, and the AAHKS Health Policy Fellowship.
