Biomet Mourns Loss of Co-Founder

Dane A. Miller, Ph.D., 69, Biomet co-founder, former CEO, and board member passed away this week.  Bill Kolter, Biomet Vice-President of Marketing and Public Affairs, said in a note to AAHKS, “Dane was a proud supporter of AAHKS and a vocal proponent of the importance of surgeon judgment and collaboration in the advancement of patient care.” AAHKS President, Brian S. Parsley, MD, also commented, “Our hearts and prayers go out to Dane and his family and the entire Biomet extended family as well.
