To take an active stance in addressing the lack of racial and ethnic diversity in the orthopaedic subspecialty of hip and knee arthroplasty, the AAHKS Board of Directors has approved the formation of the Diversity Advisory Board (DAB). This board of volunteers will be a resource for increasing diversity and inclusion among the AAHKS leadership and general membership.
DAB will serve as a steering group to oversee programs that provide mentorship, professional development and engagement for the diverse membership of AAHKS.
