AAHKS President, Mark I. Froimson, MD, MBA announced at the 2017 AAHKS Annual Meeting that Noam Shohat, MD of the Rothman Institute is the recipient of the second Foundation for Arthroplasty Research and Education (FARE) grant. His study, “Fructosamine as a Predictor of Surgical Outcomes in Total Joint Arthroplasty,” was selected for the FARE funding in a blinded review of applicants by the AAHKS Research Committee. Dr. Shohat will complete a final report upon completion of the study.
