SwiftPath™ Appoints New CIO

AAHKS member and Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Chairman at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, Ira H. Kirschenbaum, MD, has been appointed Chief Information Officer of the SwiftPath joint replacement program. He is responsible for strategy and deployment of cloud-based solutions for SwiftPath – a service organization that develops protocols, strategies, and programs focused on outpatient hip and knee replacement. SwiftPath uses consensus-based protocols, education, training, and an array of information technology tools to assure the safety and efficiency of outpatient and rapid/short length of stay joint replacement.
