Submit your application for the 2026–2027 AAHKS Health Policy Fellowship by Tuesday, Sept. 30. The program, which runs on the calendar year, is open to orthopaedic surgeons in the United States currently participating in an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship, or who have completed a fellowship and are within the first four years of their clinical practice. Fellows are engaged in the policy-making process and guided by AAHKS mentors to become more effective advocates for the profession. Former fellow John P. Andrawis, MD called it “A career changing opportunity that allows new fellows and attendings the opportunity to be exposed to orthopedic issues at the national level… It is an extremely unique opportunity that will be a valuable building block to your career.” For details on the fellowship and how to apply by Sept. 30, click here.
