The AAHKS Research Committee is pleased to announce a Call for Proposals for an expanded FARE grant focused on the use of intraosseous antibiotics in total joint arthroplasty, including primary, complex and revision procedures. Letters of Intent should propose collaborative, multi-investigator, multi-center studies led by at least two Principal Investigators and, preferably, involving more than 10 participating sites, with appropriate letters of support or feasibility statements. The award will provide up to $100,000 in funding with oversight from the AAHKS Research Committee and offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with the AJRR P30 Center Grant, allowing studies to be nested within AJRR infrastructure and supported with funded methodological expertise in study design, infrastructure planning and ongoing data analysis. Projects may be conducted within the AJRR framework or as stand-alone multi-center studies, with additional support available for larger, nationally funded efforts. Interested investigators should submit a Letter of Intent by Feb. 18 and select the P30 grant upon submission. Apply here.
