Initial applications for the Foundation for Arthroplasty Research and Education (FARE) Spring Cycle Grant are due Wednesday, Feb. 18. The application serves as the Letter of Intent (LOI) and will be reviewed by the AAHKS Research Committee; selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal, with awardees announced at the AAHKS Spring Meeting. Up to two grants of $50,000 each will be awarded. Apply here. FARE is also accepting LOIs for a targeted funding opportunity focused on intraosseous antibiotics in total joint arthroplasty (primary, complex or revision). Proposals should outline collaborative, multi-investigator, multi-center studies led by at least two Principal Investigators, ideally with 10+ participating sites and appropriate letters of support. This award provides up to $100,000 and includes oversight from the AAHKS Research Committee, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with the AJRR P30 Center Grant for methodological and infrastructure support. Submit your LOI by February 18 and select the P30 grant upon submission if applying for targeted funding.
