The 2026 AAHKS Spring Meeting began on Thursday, April 30, at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago. The events kicked off with the International Session, “Surgeon Burnout, Its Epidemiology and Potential Approaches to Mitigate it: A Global Perspective,” moderated by AAHKS International Committee Chair Carlos A. Higuera-Rueda, MD. The Young Arthroplasty Group (YAG) hosted a networking reception for attendees, particularly those in the early stages of their careers, followed by a Welcome Reception for all Spring Meeting attendees. Friday morning attendees will split into a Main Track for experienced surgeons and a Young Surgeon Track, designed to bridge the gap between fellowship and practice. On Friday afternoon, both tracks combine for the remainder of the meeting, including several “Ask the Experts” case discussions and new learning sessions, such as the Rapid-Fire Journal Club.
