AAHKS Signs Conversion Factor and APM Incentives Letters to Congress

This week AAHKS joined 100 organizations representing more than 1 million physician and non-physician health care providers urging Congressional action to “prevent the entire 4.5% reduction to Medicare payment rates from being implemented on January 1, 2023.” Click to read the Conversion Factor letter. This is combined with an AMA letter AAHKS signed onto in September and the more than 580 letters AAHKS members sent to Congress in October to support avoiding these cuts. This week AAHKS also called on Congressional leadership to extend the 5% Medicare Alternative Payment Model (APM) incentive payments which are expiring at the end of 2022.
