2022 AAHKS Annual Meeting events kicked off at the Gaylord Texan Resort today. The AAHKS Board of Directors, led by AAHKS President Bryan D. Springer, MD, welcomed leaders to Grapevine. The Board heard reports from committee chairs including updates on membership, advocacy, digital health and industry relations. The Foundation for Arthroplasty Research and Education (FARE) Board of Directors met to approve the second round of $50,000 FARE Grant Award recipients, to be announced on Saturday during the General Session. The AAHKS Global Outreach Board (AAHKS-GO) convened as well to finalize 2022 charitable donation status and plan outreach initiatives for 2023. In other international news, representatives from the European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy-European Knee Associates (ESSKA-EKA) guest society were recognized at the International Reception and Board Meeting, and will provide an update to members during Saturday’s General Session.
