Pioneer in the field of arthroplasty Lawrence D. Dorr, MD, passed away earlier this month, and the orthopaedic and medical community is sharing memories of this legendary humanitarian surgeon. AAHKS member Chad Krueger, MD, put together this graphic commemorating Dr. Dorr’s many contributions to the field of orthopaedic surgery, and to improving the lives of patients around the globe. It can be shared on social media. Dr. Dorr was a founder of AAHKS, served as the 1995 AAHKS President and was recognized for his work as founder of Operation Walk with the AAHKS Humanitarian Award in 2017; he passed away late last year.
