A study published in Arthritis Research & Therapy sought to identify risk factors for the increased use of opioids and other analgesics one year after hip or knee replacement surgery. The single-center study, involving analysis of 13,000 hip and knee replacement cases in Finland, focused on comorbidities and surgery-related factors.
