The 2024 AAHKS Spring Meeting began on May 1 at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead. Thursday’s events included a Leadership Retreat for AAHKS Board of Directors and AAHKS Committee Chairs and Vice Chairs, focused on creating goals and evolving the AAHKS strategic plan to meet the profession’s growing needs in 2025-2027. Kicking off the official Spring Meeting program was the International Session, “Hip and Knee Arthroplasty – A Global Perspective,” featuring adult reconstruction surgeons representing Europe, Africa, India, South and North America presented insights from their respective countries and held a panel discussion, taking questions from the audience. The AAHKS Young Arthroplasty Group (YAG) Committee hosted a reception following the International Session, and a Welcome Reception for all Spring Meeting attendees concluded Thursday’s events. The 2024 Spring Meeting continues today and Saturday in Atlanta; more information will be shared next week.
