As a participant in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons’ (AAOS) 2024 Annual Meeting, AAHKS hosted a number of events, including Specialty Day, Friday, February 16. The AAHKS Board of Directors met on Wednesday to review progress on the Fellowship Recognition and Grant Programs, approve the 2024 budget and discuss potential improvements to the AAHKS abstract submission and grading processes. Outgoing AAHKS President Javad Parvizi, MD, FRSC, presided over his last Board meeting as President before transitioning to Dr. Huddleston’s term. Dr. Parvizi thanked all volunteer leaders for their support and efforts over the past year, particularly those who are concluding their terms of service this year:
