The AAHKS Diversity Advisory Board’s (DAB) mentorship program recruits and enriches the professional development of young arthroplasty surgeons of color, supporting AAHKS core values like inclusivity and lifelong learning. The program will match trainees and early practice surgeons with mentors who are more established in their careers, with the goals of increasing the number of fellowship applications from trainees of color and supporting these surgeons as they begin their own careers.
