The 30th AAHKS Annual Meeting was the first of its kind – a hybrid event, with members attending live both in person and virtually. Keeping in-person attendees safe during the pandemic was a priority, and AAHKS employed several key protocols to protect members. Working with infectious disease expert Keyur S. Vyas, MD, and Safe Expo, AAHKS implemented a health attestation program and temperature screening procedure, among other safeguards.
