AAHKS President Javad Parvizi, MD, Secretary Rafael J. Sierra, MD and International Committee Chair Victor H. Hernandez, MD, along with several Past Presidents, Committee Chairs and other leaders and members are part of a delegation representing AAHKS at the 19th Encuentro Latinoamericano de Cirujanos de Cadera y Rodilla (ELCCR), or the 19th Meeting of the Latin American Hip and Knee Surgeons. AAHKS hosted a 2-hour symposium on arthroplasty practices in the U.S. and, as part of Dr. Parvizi’s membership challenge, the delegation invited orthopaedic surgeons across Latin America to become AAHKS members and welcomed many new international members.
