The General Session of the 2024 AAHKS Annual Meeting continued today, with Papers 40-57 presented in two sessions focused on health policy and revision THA. The two final symposia addressed “Strategies for Achieving Success in the CMS PROMs Program” and “Pelvic Reconstruction for Complex Bone Defects in Revision THA.” During this morning’s AAHKS Business Meeting, open to all members in attendance, members voted on the presented slate of Board of Directors and Nominating Committee Members. In addition, reports were heard from Bryan D. Springer, MD, 3rd Vice President of The Hip Society, and Henry D. Clarke, MD, President of the Knee Society. Three recent AAHKS Health Policy Fellows provided reports on their health policy experiences: F. Johannes Plate, MD, PhD, Meg A. Whitmarsh-Brown, MD and Christopher D. Skeehan, MD. Joshua C. Rozell, MD, also updated members on studies during his tenure as the 2024 AJRR Research Fellow.
