The AAHKS Board of Directors met yesterday to hear committee and society reports, review new membership applications, and discuss end-of-year financials. Three Special Courses take place today: the Business of Total Joint Arthroplasty Course, the Orthopaedic Team Member Course and the Research Course, offering additional learning opportunities for Annual Meeting attendees prior to the General Session. The Business and Team Member courses also offer up to 7 additional hours of CME. Also taking place today are four Ask the Experts sessions, where attendees are invited to bring their complex cases in primary and revision hip and knee surgery for feedback and discussion amongst their peers. Today’s Fellowship Town Hall also introduces members of the arthroplasty fellowship training community to plans to introduce a new process for Fellowship Recognition over the next three years.
