This week, Mike Zarski, Executive Director and Jean Furlan, Manager of Corporate Relations, met with Heidi J. Katz, RPh, Director, Medical Affairs, Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc. They discussed the development of multi-modal pain management education. They also discussed other educational initiatives with the upcoming launch of Arthroplasty Today and a patient education Web portal.
In the same trip, the AAHKS team met with Deanna Mattiello, Senior Marketing Communications Manager and Alissa Sellers Director, Marketing & Communications of Stryker Orthopedics. Discussions included the future of robotics in arthroplasty, resident education, best education models and the new Hospital Administrative course to be held at the AAHKS 25th Annual Meeting.
