AAHKS joined the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics in a letter to Members of Congress endorsing H.R. 1859/S. 2782 “Ensuring Childrens’ Access to Specialty Care Act.” The bill has been introduced into committee and requires support to have it moved to the Senate floor.
The bill would modify the National Health Service Corps loan repayment program in order to allow pediatric subspecialists working in underserved areas to participate. Read the letter.
