Last week the American College of Surgeons’ (ACS) Surgeon Well-being Coalition, of which AAHKS is a member, launched a national surgeon well-being survey. The purpose of the survey is to pursue these important long-term goals:
- Increase understanding of the surgeon workforce
- Identify workplace processes that enhance or inhibit surgeon well-being.
- Understand surgeon clinical and non-clinical workload and compensation.
- Use this data to drive evidence-based advocacy for surgeon workplace well-being.
Unique links were sent via Qualtrics on Monday, June 3. You may need to check your spam/junk folder. If you cannot find your link, email wellbeingsurvey@facs.org. Your responses will help define the critical workplace processes that influence surgeon well-being across all surgical disciplines and practice types. The survey is anonymous and takes about 10 minutes to complete. Learn more about the American College of Surgeons Wellbeing Program.
